veronacards.com is an independent booking guide for the Verona Card. This page explains who runs it, how it is financed and where the data comes from.

Who is behind this site

veronacards.com is run by Patrick Kühne, an independent travel publisher based in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, Germany. He builds and maintains a small portfolio of guides to city passes and attraction tickets across Europe. There is no agency and no rotating editorial team behind this site: the pages are researched, written and kept up to date by one person — the same one who answers the e-mails.

What this site does

We explain what the Verona Card includes, what it costs and whether it pays off for the way you actually plan to spend your time in Verona. We put the official resellers side by side and show live prices, so the decision happens in one place instead of five browser tabs. We do not sell tickets ourselves — every booking happens on the reseller’s own site, under their terms.

How we earn money

When you book through one of our links, the reseller pays us a commission. Your price stays exactly the same: the commission comes out of the reseller’s margin, not your pocket. No contract obliges us to favour a particular provider, and the comparison is ordered by what the traveller pays, not by what pays us best. If the cheaper option is the one that earns us less, it still goes first.

Where our data comes from

Prices and ratings come straight from the official APIs of our booking partners and are refreshed automatically several times a day, so the number on the page is the number at checkout. Details about opening hours, included sights and conditions are taken from the Comune di Verona and the participating museums and re-checked regularly. Found something out of date? Write to us and we will correct it.

What we are not

We are not the Comune di Verona and not an official partner of the city. The Verona Card is issued by the Comune di Verona; this site is an independent guide to it. For binding announcements — price changes, closures, new conditions — always check the city’s own channels.
